1962年大阪生まれ。幼い頃スケートボード、サーフィンと出会う。1996年アートユニット「パームグラフィックス」を結成。鮮やかな色彩とナチュラルなラインのポップなサーフアートを通じて、ピースフルなメッセージを発信し続けている。100枚にも及ぶBEAMSとのコラボレーションTシャツが話題を集め、サーファー以外の若者にもサーフアートを広めた立役者的な存在。海外ではカリフォルニアのインターナショナル・サーフィンミュージアムやザ・サーフ・ギャラリーなどで定期的にエキシビションを開催し、海外からも注目を集めている。近年では環境問題をテーマとした表現活動や、音楽、映画、カフェ、家具など、幅広い分野で活躍中。

Drawing was Koji Toyoda's favorite thing to do as a child. Now a painter, surfer, music producer to list a few of this talented and successful artist's titles, his style has always been very simple and easy to understand and also entertaining. He has no doubt been a leader in the surf art scene in Japan and has collaborated with many companies, too.
He has been showing his work in California since 1997 at surf art shows at Laguna Art Museum and the Surf Gallery.
